Soledad House

Women's residential treatment · San Diego
About

A women-specific residential and PHP/IOP continuum in San Diego's Pacific Beach. Clients live in a supportive sober living residence and participate in holistic + evidence-based therapies led by an all-female clinical team.

Editor's Note · Recovery Roots Editors

Specifically built for women, by women in recovery. Tight-knit, trauma-informed, and clinically serious in a way most gender-specific programs pretend to be.

What sets them apart

Three things worth knowing before you call.

All-female clinical team

Therapists, case managers, and medical staff are women. Trauma work in particular moves faster when the room feels safe.

Full continuum under one roof

Residential → PHP → IOP → sober living, all on one clinical record. No starting over every time you step down.

Pacific Beach setting

Beach walks, surf therapy, and the simple fact of morning light on water — built into the daily clinical rhythm.

New evening IOP track for working women

5:30–8:30pm groups three times a week — designed for women balancing treatment with a career or parenting.

I'd been in two other programs that said they specialized in trauma. Soledad was the first one where I actually felt safe enough to do the work. That was the turning point.
